1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
Be careful and pray for and watch your brothers and sisters in Christ’s backs because Satan is looking to “Crush you” or “blow you up as we say in football.
Watch this hit and think about how God has given you Christian friends who should watch out for you unlike how this quarterback threw a pass that got his running back almost killed.
1 Peter 5:9 “Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”
Even when Satan gets to you, return to the Lord and on the next play, spiritually speaking, listen to God, trust Him and walk with Him and He’ll lead you to the end zone of Heaven.

Most athletes don’t realize that the beginning to being successful in the heat of the battle is truly trusting in the Lord for everything. He’ll give you peace in the pocket. He’ll be your strength up at bat.
